Staff 

The Day Centre is staffed by a Manager, 2 Care Assistants and a Cook all of whom are committed to ensuring that Clients of the Day Centre have a great day. All staff are DBS checked.

We currently have a vacancy for a Cook on a Thursday from 9am to 1pm. If you are interested in applying, please contact the Day Centre by e-mail at grovedaycentre@hotmail.co.uk with a copy of your CV

Volunteers

The Centre also depends on Volunteer help to assist with Client Activities and other tasks in and  around the Building. The Centre welcomes applications for volunteering from the local community.  In particular we would love to hear from someone who is handy at general DIY and would like to volunteer in a maintenance capacity. 

If you would like to apply to be a volunteer you may visit the Grove Day Centre to speak to the  Manager during opening hours and pick up an application form. Or you may prefer to phone on  01235 770074 and ask for an application form to be posted to you. All volunteers will be DBS checked.

Trustees (Voluntary)

We are currently looking for new Trustees to join our long-standing team.  Ideally, you will have an interest in elderly care, be IT literate and someone community minded, who wants to get involved.

Meeting up to 6 times a year and carrying out the behind-the-scenes decision making, functional tasks and management of the charity, we are looking for new Trustees with energy, abilities and commitment, to help us.

Specifically, we would like to recruit a new Chairperson, and two further Trustees who would be responsible for the Building and Fund-Raising respectively. The Chairperson should ideally have some experience in health and/or social care.
